I have just installed the latest Mailman core for this list. This version now actually processes bounces.

As a result of the huge backlog of unprocessed, queued bounces, some members may receive one or more bounce probe messages. As long as the probes don't bounce, your subscription will be unaffected and you can ignore the probe message.
